Top Breweries in Fort Collins

1
Purpose Brewing This small batch brewery features limited barrel release beers with a new rotation frequently. Ranging from light lagers to bourbon barreled beers. This is not your run of the mill brewery. Dare we say a beer with a purpose. Purpose is a really cool comfortable location which rustic decor and tables or couches. If I lived here I would be back every week for the rotating menu.
2
New Belgium Brewing New Belgium is best known for their Fat Tire. They have the best outdoor patio and very large grassy space with yard games. They also have a food truck daily. I love the patio days and the sweet smell of beer in the works. Is there anything better? New Belgium features beers that are sure to have something for everyone. Make sure you check out their tour while there. New Belgium is one of the best for Fort Collins beer!
3
FunkWerks Located in the outskirts of Fort Collins but is definitely worth the drive. Funkwerks focuses on saisons, sours, and barrel aged beers. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any suggestions. I recommend getting a beer flight here so you can sample the variety FunkWerks has to offer. They have a small space inside but also patio space.
4
Jessup Barrell Farmhouse This brewery wins for the coolest location vibe! This breweries taphouse is located in a barnhouse and features delicious sours and some bottles to go. They also offer small food options like panini's. Staff was very accommodating and gave us some other recommendations of breweries to check out.
5
Maxline Brewing This brewery was busiest spot we visited but plenty of seating. They have a large variety of beers. We were lucky enough to get sample of peach mango pale ale before running out but the Mango strawberry sour was delicious. If you are traveling with your dog, they will find lots of friends here.

With so many options of great Fort Collins beer, we are looking forward to visiting again and bringing you another list of top breweries. Many of Fort Collins breweries bottle or can their beers so you can check your local market or liquor store to try one until you can make it to town! Cheers
